What happens when a couple tries to lose weight as a team? It can be the recipe for success … or a catastrophe. Losing weight is difficult, and sometimes if people feel lonely during the process, lasting change seems impossible. If a couple decides to take the road together, therefore, it is possible to create healthier habits and strengthen the relationship.
It would be more powerful to do it among a group of people, where to share experiences, situations, discoveries, revelations and successes. All a cocktail that remains in the memory.
Supporting each other, having fun and being honest are key factors.
Support each other
We live in a fast world, with a multitude of personal relationships of all kinds: between friends with a drink, with your in-laws at a table full of food, with children and their insane snacks, with your sister-in-law and their candy trays, the boss and a new goal to meet … thousands of stimuli that tell you to throw in the towel and that right now is not the time.
Now I tell you: “When is it?”
People have moments of weakness, mediocrity and abundance. Whatever your moment, with help and sure support that improves with respect to the starting point. Action is the only option to start something new and have an opportunity to get other results. And if you catch a friend, family member or your partner, there is no escape or easy way out.
The easy thing is to get it, the complicated thing is not to do it
Many of my remaining 5k Brave were left to exercise, sunbathe, meditate or even have tea. When in-person and online people lived together in the group, the conversations of everything you had done and overcome were nurtured, causing the group’s energy to rise tremendously.
Keep in mind that the person who initiates a 5k Challenge is determined, willing to contribute, contribute and change.
Thousands of studies confirm that to learn and improve, it is better to do it with a smile and having fun.
Imagine meeting with your group of friends or acquaintances or family, give a lot of play to share and stay. Informal and enjoyable meetings where they expose what they liked, peculiar moments, committed and fun.

To be honest. Compare attitudes instead of numbers
Comparing the weight you lose is not the best way to go. It is important that women, especially, remember it, since men probably lose weight faster. If you choose to compare, you should measure attitudes and habits to see how each one goes. By observing what the other does well, one can learn to improve. Examples:
• “My friends take the juices to work in their refrigerators. I will prepare mine the day before at night and set an alarm so that I do not forget. ”
• “I consumed half of my infusions that touched me during the day. I will work with my father so that we both increase our consumption of infusions. ”
Make the competition useful
Competition is an effective motivation for many, but in a team you have to remember that both are on the same side. If each thing becomes a competition, weight loss may be achieved, but the relationship may also suffer. Instead, it is possible to use the competition to keep you accountable and focused. Examples:
• “My aunt got up at 6: ooh am and meditated. I put on meditation tonight without fail.
• “My partner only took what he put in the recommendations. In our next event, I will do the same to help me manage my diet”.
