They want to improve their diet and physical presence. We love these cases, because we work preventing future diseases and problems, promoting health and well-being. Thank you for the opportunity!
Also in that same field there is another “face of the coin”, still being a minority (1%) but existing and I want to share it with you.
Nowadays, new diseases derived from this field have been discovered: vigorexia, orthorexia …
I can also remember old women known as anorexia and bulimia, where families and affected people suffer.
But this entry does not go to extremes, it goes to those people who do not know how to enjoy the process
Some of us enjoy when we go to the hairdresser, right?
When they fill our heads with papers, we wait “a few hours” for the treatments to take effect, among other things. For a final result much better than the starting state, and even to enjoy a radical change.
You feel happy, happy, sure of yourself and you want everyone to see how beautiful you are.
Now is when my logic asks you: “Why doesn’t the same thing happen when you are dieting?”

Kg vs changes
Several patients, especially at the beginning, were angry with me because they did not lower exactly what they wanted. They had difficult expectations to please.

Reduce the amounts in the food, drink water regularly, introduce new recipes, play sports regularly, have radiant skin, strong nails and enviable hair. The acquaintances stopped her and asked her, because her improvement was visible. I had lost 5 kg in 6 weeks.
Apparently he had everything done, since he only had to lose 1.8 kg.
But one day in consultation I did not see her happy, and I care about people, I asked her: what’s the matter, honey?
To which he replied: I do not see myself lose weight, I go from 500 to 800 grams per week and yes, I understand that I am losing fat by kilos, but I do not see enough!
I said: patience honey, even if you don’t believe it, you have a very good pace. Also, how about everything you’ve changed and achieved?
There was silence …
I quickly spoke again and made this reflection:
I am going to take this situation to another context like the couple, you will understand:
A wonderful man, who loves you and has details with you. You see that he is committing himself more and more with your relationship, he speaks to you to motivate you, share your miseries * … And you get angry and consider leaving him because one day he hasn’t told you I love you …
* miseries: defects, day-day problems, fears …
